Thanks to everyone who have been commenting on my photos while we have been away on our travels. I hope to do a spot of catching up tonight. I was too tired last night and only had the energy to post my photo for the day.
Today has been spent doing the shopping. (I have got to cook dinner tonight, not used to that after the last 2 weeks, ha ha) and I have tackled a ton of washing. Luckily the weather was fine and 30 degrees C today so got it all washed and dried. Next is the ironing though, ugh. Any volunteers?
After unpacking yesterday I copied all my photos from my laptop to my desktop computer and then the monitor on my desktop died, so had to go online to order a new monitor. Just heard that it has been despatched and is hot footing it to our house. Luckily we had a spare monitor which David got from the recycle shop a few weeks ago for $15 because he needed a spare monitor to attached to our old computer and delete all the documents etc. That computer we took down to Melbourne for Debbie.
This collage was taken in the aquarium at Canberra Zoo. I was very impressed with the zoo and the aquarium is magnificent.
I think I will be posting quite a few photos from our trip over the next couple of weeks, because once we get back on track at home I want to spend more time writing up my family history story. Got quite a lot of it done already though.
Very fishy sort of day :) That's the worst part about arriving home is all the washing, shopping and general catch up! Sounds like the Canberra zoo was a great place :)
Wonderful images of bright colours -I would love to be a fish in those beautiful surroundings instead of waking up to a pea-souper of a day with thick misty fog here in the UK !!-- I can hardly see across our own lawn a the moment ! Take it easy now you are home to get your breath back - and good luck with the family history !
Amazing job of capturing through the glass. Love the little orange stripped fish. Good luck with that ironing. If I don't keep up with my husbands dress shirts it can be a nightmare pile.
@beryl Thanks Beryl. Not had chance to take it easy much since I got home. Today we have been out with our walking group and then out for lunch afterwards. Didn't have to cook dinner tonight.
I have been doing family history for a long time, but now I am putting the story together. So interesting.
@lesip Thanks Leslie. Haven't started on the ironing yet. That was going to be today's job, but we went off with our walking group and then out for lunch afterwards, so the ironing is tomorrow's job.
maybe over the Easter holidays
great collage
