Platoon ..... Left ...... Turn by onewing

Platoon ..... Left ...... Turn

Not the best picture in the world, but it made me smile as I walked past. It looked as though the Regimental Sgt Major was lining up his troops and I loved the fact that they were all facing the same way.

Sorry I am a bit absent again, out all day today and out this evening too. Will catch up as soon as I can.
LOL great capture. Did they pose?

Ha, what are they all looking at. With your title it is so easy to imagine them doing an about turn and lining themselves up the other way. So amusing. Thanks!

@pcoulson ha ha. I know it has been done before, but the walking on water is just a party trick, I don't want to give away how it is done though or it could destroy someone's reputation.

I have been rather absent and not able to comment much on your photos, but hopefully next week will be less busy.

Great shot, funny how they all lined up for you! Do you know the name of this bird Babs?
October 29th, 2016
@stephanies Thanks Stephanie. The birds are pied cormorants.
October 30th, 2016
Hahaha I love the way you think Babs!!! :) And I love cormorants...
October 30th, 2016

Thanks Babs, we don't get the pied variety over here as you probably know. I was talking about this pic with my other half and he told me birds will face the direction that the wind is coming from because it makes it easier for them to take off - they get greater lift flying into the wind. Thought you might find that interesting :) @onewing
