What a Difference a Day Makes

I am a bit late posting today because I have been out for lunch at a friends house.

Thanks so much for the amazing response to yesterday's sunset photo, but what a difference a day makes.

Yesterday it was 37 degrees C and we were melting and today the cold front has arrived, it has poured down all day and the temperature is 19 degrees C. You wouldn't believe that this was the same scene as yesterday's photo would you.

It sure is different to yesterday! Love the atmosphere the fog has created.

What a difference, it is 7c here

a scene worth looking at regardless of the weather
December 15th, 2016
Wow, that's certainly different! I'd prefer the temperature today though. Lovely scene.

What a true saying, this shot is very lovely in it's own way,,

Just as lovely in a totally different way. Lovely soft colour with just the right tonal balance.
December 15th, 2016
Still a lovely day and a lovely capture :)

Really like this shot, love the soft colours & stillness of the scene
December 15th, 2016
A lovely capture, despite the weather :)

very nice

This is a lovely shot, and as you said, quite a contrast to the previous day. 19 degrees C sounds positively attractive, compared with our temperature of around 8 degrees C today!

Lovely muted colours, a super shot
December 15th, 2016
I believe you. Our weather is as chanceable as yours. We have four seasons, often all on one day. Great view and capture.
December 15th, 2016
Still a beautiful scene non the less. It looks quite tranquil
December 15th, 2016
As Ian said, 19C is positively tropical compare to our 7C today. Not cold, just drear.
December 15th, 2016
Wonderful shot
December 15th, 2016
Beautiful image
December 15th, 2016
A huge contrast but a beautiful scene whatever the weather!
December 15th, 2016
There's a picture to be had in all weathers - as you demonstrate so well.
December 15th, 2016
@leggzy It is going to warm up again by the weekend apparently, but at least we have had some much needed rain.
December 16th, 2016
@peterday Couldn't cope with 7 degrees c. 19 was too chilly for me.
December 16th, 2016
@inthecloud5 Thanks Christine. 19 degrees c is a bit too cold for me. 28-32 is ideal, 37-42 is just a bit too much, but can cope with that for a couple of days at a time.
December 16th, 2016
@pcoulson Nearly had to dig out the thermals Peter. ha ha.
December 16th, 2016
@fishers I couldn't cope with 8 degrees c. My ideal temperature is around 28-30 C
December 16th, 2016
@pyrrhula We aren't used to such changes in temperature in summer. In Victoria they get four seasons in one day quite regularly.
December 16th, 2016
@s4sayer It has rained a lot the last couple of days, but the rain was much needed.
December 16th, 2016
Stunning and looks so peaceful!!
December 16th, 2016
Superb.
December 16th, 2016
Looks a bit chilly I like the picture though.
December 16th, 2016
Looks like painting.
December 16th, 2016
Summer to winter in 12 hours!
December 17th, 2016
Isn't it interesting how different the weather can be from one day to the next. Fun to see them side by side in the thumbnails.
December 17th, 2016
It sure does, a complete contrast to your sunset photo
December 18th, 2016
Indeed, what a difference, I hope the weather has improved since you took this shot.
