A lovely peaceful scene. It must be wonderful when most of the tourists have gone. Having been tied to taking our holidays in the school holidays for many, many years we now always take them in term time.
Lovely peaceful and inviting scene Babs, like the pov taken from the beach running along Victoria Parade, yes I've been there brings back some great memories stayed a couple of times at the Nelson Towers Motel just peaking through the trees:)
@golftragic@annied This is in Nelson Bay, but the beach closest to our house never gets crowded at all. Not too many people know about our beach and we will keep it quiet. You will have to come up and pay a visit as long as you don't tell your friends where it is.
@carole_sandford Thanks Carole, yes some of the beaches in Cyprus used to get pretty busy didn't they. We were at Akrotiri though and the beach on camp was only for military people because it was on the Sovereign Base area so didn't get crowded. Where were you in Cyprus?
@pcoulson Yes Peter, you have spotted it. You will have to come out for another visit and we will take you to our local beach. We live outside the tourist area and not too many people visit our beach. Keep it quiet though we don't want tourists dropping in.
@onewing Yes Babs, we keep saying to our relatives we will be back, I have relatives South Mission Beach, Shorncliffe near Brisbane and Manly near Sydney, quite a spread along the east side of Australia:)
