Brilliant fun image Babs, what a wonderful find and at just the right height, hopefully you will not be getting your wings for many years to come, lol:)
So happy you are flying with two wings Babs! The they were obviously made for you, no bending or stretching needed!
Sounds a great trip, I like a coach trip myself!
@happypat Thanks Pat, yes we had a lovely day. Perfect weather too. We started with morning tea at the wharf in Newcastle, then up to Fort Scratchley for a tour and then on to the Memorial Walk where we walked from The Hill to Dixon Park in Newcastle. We had a picnic lunch at Dixon Park and then on to Lake Macquarie Art Gallery before returning home.
@hermann No Sal, couldn't take them home. They wouldn't fit in my handbag and the bus driver said I would have had to pay extra to store them under the bus. At least I know where they are when I need them.
@lyndamcg Long story as to why my name is onewing. My Mum always used to say that when you do good things for people you get feathers in your wings when you die, but if you do bad things the feathers are plucked out. So I figured that I would at least manage to qualify for one wing. I'll never get the halo and the harp, but at least with one wing I could fly round in circles.
@golftragic They wouldn't let me keep the wings, just have my photo taken with them. I'll have to put up with my broomstick until I can find a wing I can keep.
Now I've got to find a halo and a harp. Do you think I will qualify?
@princessm No, sorry Decima I am not that smart. The photo was taken in an art gallery and we were on a bus trip, so no gadgets with me on this occasion. I would never have been able to line my arms up with the wings in the time it would taken a timer to go off. Plus, other people were wanting to have their photos taken with the wings and there were 46 of us on this trip.
ha ha
strange I come across this tonight as this afternoon I watched John Travolta in the movie "Michael" - his wings looked like white versions of these

I know I will never qualify for the halo and the harp and with one wing I could at least fly round in circles, but it was good to know where a pair of wings are should I need them.
Thanks Dione, flying to the moon and back sounds a good idea. Better to fly to the moon rather than the sun, look what happened to Icarus.
