Winter Sunshine

Another beautiful day today, so good after all the rain we had earlier this month.

The kids playing on the beach in this picture are wearing shorts and tee shirts. Just goes to show how warm it has been.

We do get plenty of breaks from winter.

@maggiemae Part of the building you mention is a tourist shop and booking office for the ferry boats over to Tea Gardens and Myall Lakes and also where you book dolphin and whale watch cruises. The pink sign that says Café is where the Wharf Café is and according to David they make the best bacon and egg rolls. It is popular, especially for people returning from the local cruises. You can see some of the berths along the wharf where the ferry boats come in and also along the wharf is the weigh station where the game fishing competitors weigh their catch.
Behind me is the main marina where the larger dolphin and whale watch boats are berthed and there are restaurants, shops and cafes too.
