We have been out with our walking group today for our final walk this year followed by a Christmas lunch at the golf club.
It has been a very hot, hazy, smoky day and you can see the smoke haze in this photo. I think the temperature reached 33 degrees c by lunch time. Still no sign of rain.
As we walked along Little Beach I spotted this chap having great fun building a giant sand castle.
Luckily most of our walk was in bushland at the back of this beach so we walked in plenty of shady areas.
There is an ice cream farm near Chester where one of the attractions is an area of sand with child sized diggers like this where children use them to search for treasure. The little ones love it!
