While I was doing the 30 day one subject challenge last month I noticed people were posting photos of teddies and rainbows that people had put in the windows of their property during lockdown, so I thought I would make my own rainbow and teddy photo.
I know it is a bit late but lockdown is still in place here even though it has been relaxed slightly now. I hope other countries are able to relax the lockdown due to the Covid-19 crisis soon.
The rainbow was made with Smarties and over the next few days I will be posting shots of some of the other creations I also made with Smarties before eventually eating them.
Now that you photpgraphed them, you may gulp down the Smarties. A beautiful capture and I like how you prepared your Smarties so neatly. A great sign of hope and unity - much needed in the world we have built full of selfishness and greed.
Was going to say...how long did the smarties last? Great idea Babs. Was just thinking then it’s a long time since I have seem a large box of smarties, only tubes lately!
@kjarn Just goes to show how much more time I have on my hands these days. Making patterns and pictures with Smarties kept me busy for ages. I think I qualify for the funny farm now, ha ha.
@pusspup Ha ha, yes I know where I can get more supplies if needed.
@happypat I managed to keep most of them until I had finished playing and only ate one that happened to drop on the floor while I was creating one of the patterns.
We have big bags of Smarties here, not in tubes like we used to have in the UK and also there are bags that contain 12 snack size boxes of Smarties too. I had to give one of the snack size boxes to David because he kept pinching mine.
@golftragic Truth is I didn't manage to hide them from you-know-who. He was worse than kids. I had to give him a little snack size supply of Smarties just for him and told him to keep away from mine until I had finished playing with them. He behaved himself once I put him in the naughty corner though.
I put them in a jar when I finished and he has been eating them ever since.
@golftragic just a few. David went to the supermarket the other day and bought some of his 'essentials' chocolate digestive biscuits, crunchies and tim tams so they get first dibs.

Done !
Some of you asked if I ate them along the way, but I only ate one and that was because it dropped on the family room floor as I was creating one of the patterns. The 5 second rule applied and as long as I picked it up off the floor in that time I ate it. (well more than 5 seconds really).
