It is a lovely sunny day today but the temperature has suddenly dropped and we are now feeling the chill as winter approaches here in the southern hemisphere.
I damaged my back a few days ago while moving logs, so have had a lazy day at home today trying to take it easy and help my back recover. Still rather painful at the moment but hopefully resting will do the trick as I have a busy few days ahead next week.
I decided to have a play with some flower photos taken earlier this year.
I posted a photo with this effect a couple of months ago and if anyone is interested how to create it I have given a link below to my previous photo which gives the instructions on how to do it in Photoshop.
Had to reach for the smelling salts. Not one flower......but four on your page!! Nice bit of faffing, they are presented beautifully here.
So sorry about your back. Yes, rest it and a few stretches and pelvic tilts to keep it mobile. Hope it is fine and dandy soon.
@casablanca Sorry hope you have recovered. Keep the smelling salts handy because I have prepared a few more flower pictures to post over the next few days because I am going to be short on photo time this week.
@quietpurplehaze Sorry to shock you too Hazel with flower photos, but as I said to Casa keep the smelling salts handy, you will need them over the next few days too.
It's good to branch out once in a while and post pictures that are not your usual style. Don't worry about us, we'll survive! I hope your back is on the mend and it won't be troubling you for long. With all that plaid, I feel as if I should view these flowers with bagpipe music playing in the background!

@pcoulson Still carrying logs but very slowly ha ha
@happysnaps I do like flowers, but usually have to have a play with them in Photoshop
@olivetreeann Yes the wave background does have a tartan feel to it doesn't it. I quite like the result.
