Banyan Tree

Today's black and white photo is of a banyan tree. I think they are really creepy trees and remind me of the Dementors from the Harry Potter movies.

I thought this would be a suitable candidate too for the black and white fortnight theme too. This isn't my garden but it was taken at the Botanic Gardens.

Sorry for the group reply again, but it is so hectic here at the moment and I am struggling to juggle a lot of balls in the air.

thanks for all your lovely comments on my scary tree. If you think the banyan tree looks scary in daylight you should see it at night under street lights. It is really creepy then. I'll have to go back and take a picture at night, when I am brave enough!
