Beside the silvery sea

I took this photo into the evening sun to show the sparkles on the water and the silhouette of the people and boats.

The sparkles on the water are a bit over exposed, but I still quite like the effect.

I think over exposure can work, as here, but camera club judges just cane it whatever the circumstances, which I find frustrating and limiting!! This has atmosphere and mood and the twinkles in the water are gorgeous!
