I need to get up earlier! With the time change, its dark before I get off work! I really respect you guys that can take great shots at night! I need some tips and fast! ;o) I have so many ideas but they need to be shot in the daylight! I hope you can bare with me!
This is a shot of the Starbucks drive-thru I stopped at tonight for a yummy Salted Caramel Mocha! Mmmm!
I can just imagine the calorie count on that one - but it sounds so yummy! I need to stay away from Starbucks, I need to stay away from Starbucks.... ;-)
I had a Caramel Brulee Latte today! It was so yummy! I'm going to try the Salted Caramel Mocha tomorrow! Love the low POV! I know night shots are so hard--I am going to buy a good tripod, remote clicker and pray a lot! :-)
Great picture. I am having a hard time too. I have been cheating by changing my otherwise bad indoor lighting shots into black and white! Very cool idea!!
I know I have been to a lot of Starbucks When I figured that out before I even read your comment on the pic. I love the Peppermint Hot Chocolate at this time of the year

@orangecrush I decided that for the time being I have to just accept my limitations and work really hard on the weekend to get the photos I want. I guess I may have to start "studio" style in the next few weeks.

I actually like this one alot, Jerry. It sure is a lot better than anything I took today. I too am suffering from the time change/dark too early with a bunch of rain to boot. I gave up and posted a filler tonight. I'm coming back later to see what tips everyone else offers. Thanks for opening a discussion about a subject that alot of us are feeling!
mmmm sounds delish and what a great idea for a photo! it would be impossible for you to take a bad photo....your stuff is always amazing, even a shot of a drive thru window!! lol
I like the focus - it looks warm and inviting inside too! I am having a little trouble with the early nights too- will try some night shots soon... Until then the pups will help me out! ;-)
Cool shot.I love that drink - but I get mine half sweet. Apparently it's a seasonal offering and it's not available here anymore so I have moved on to my signature peppermint white mocha (half sweet as well) - worth a try! :)
