Tonight we carved pumpkins! I know, here in America we are obsessed with pumpkins! Pumpkin patches, pumpkin carving, pumpkin pie...I'm a sucker for it all! I love fun traditions that come around each year! Halloween seems to kick them all off! I read that Halloween is the number 2 money maker just behind Christmas for sales!
Anyway, we like to carve pumpkins and listen to scary music! Afterwards I love to roast the pumpkin seeds! Yum!
I hope everyone has an awesome, fun and safe Halloween! And to all of you on the East coast my prayers go out to you and your families if you were effected by the storm and floods! I know there has been devastating loss and damage! I hope some Holiday spirit finds you and gives you a little uplift in the middle of this mess!
These look really cool. Halloween is not really celebrated in South Africa, so pumpkin carving is not something we see very much. I have noticed this year though that large pumpkins are more readily available. Roasted seeds sound wonderful as well!

i am a sucker for the Halloween stuff too - - i found orange and black tortilla chips this year! i am stoked...and they will be on display on my project for today...lol - - i love this shot - - done really well - - a total classic Halloween shot!
Cool!! This year I saw Halloween pumpkins in our local supermarket. Certainly seems that each year it gets a little bigger here in Aussie land... we put some decorations up out the front for a bit of fun :) Next year, I might even get pumpkins!
Beautiful exposure. Halloween isn't so big in the UK. We used to carve when the kids were little but to be honest it's not my favourite time. I think if the kids went trick or treating in daylight hours I'd feel a bit better about. I prefer the UK's Guy Fawkes night on the 5th November :)

I love the grins on these pumpkins - Halloween is one of my favorite holidays - everyone dresses up and is given candy - what more could you want out of life? And it happens to be my birthday as well!
