I haven't attempted shooting bubbles in a while so today I headed downtown to try to get the city reflecting in a bubble. I didn't check the weather beforehand to see what the wind would be like! I know I've looked like a crazy fool with my camera before but today must have taken the cake! I was running up and down the sidewalks, jumping out in traffic, running over pedestrians all while chasing bubbles! I know if I stayed out there too long a couple guys in white jackets would have grabbed me and taken me away on a long vacation! :o)
You might have looked like a looney, but it was SO worth it! This is magical. I love the reflections of the buildings and you in that colorful bubble against the gray background. Perfect, and of course a fave!
This is perfect. Would have loved to have seen you in your element of capturing this. I often feel uncomfortable just getting out the tripod in the middle of a crowd when I am the only one taking photos. Oh... and love the instant selfie
LOL! I love the effort that went into this shot:) And it's kind of a selfie too. I have the utmost respect for this as I've tried bubble shots myself. Annoying!!

This is fantastic! Excellent capture. I love the colours in the bubble and the reflection. The background is a great contrast too. I have had bubbles on my to do list for a while, I need to get it started! :)

Your story about chasing the bubbles all over the city cracks me up! You know you've got the photo but when you don't mind acting a tad crazy to get that perfect shot - I've gotten a few odd looks when I've laid down on my back right on the sidewalk to get a picture from just the right angle - ANyway, this is a cool shot, The placement of the bubble is spot-on and the reflections add a nice layer of depth - bravo! FAV

LOL! I have behaved like that before but only in my backyard! and I know exactly what its like to photograph bubbles in wind so this is extremely great!
:o) That's so funny. I'm sure we've all been in situations that look very strange to non 365ers. This is something I've not been able to achieve but only ever tried when it's windy. Love the reflection in there xx
Great shot! But what do you do to get your bubbles to even appear on camera? I've tried this one time, and no matter what I did (I only use manual mode btw), the bubbles just wouldn't come out defined enough in the camera! Maybe I was using some really cheap bubbles.. Are your bubbles of high quality? Lol
