This is 100% SOOC! Exept the crop, saturation, texture layer, and watermark (for those of you who dig those watermarks on photos)! :o)
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Hahhah I happen to LOVE your watermark Sir! :) Thanks for the smiles.. and this is an incredibly beautiful capture! I love the warm colors... makes me yearn for Spring to come... A++
Aww, such a beauty! This is instant fav!
I have one question, Jerry - could you please tell me which lenses you use, cause I'm struggling right now. I plan on upgrading to 7D, but not sure about the lens, so I would love to hear an advise from you!
I love your SOOC images, they're so natural and cool but frankly watermarks are the devil's work and should never be seen on any photograph ever because they completely ruin the look and are completely useless as they're so easily removed! ;o) You know I'm only kidding right.
I really like the colour and texture on this shot xx
@psychographer@timandelke@orangecrush Well shoot, should I use a watermark??? LOL Naw, my photos stink! :D Also, great SOOC!!! Think I need to fav this one! Actually, I really do think it is wonderful!
Looks like the petals in focus miss the texture, very nice. Spent the weekend in vegas with grandkids, glad to be home though..it's too smokey for me. You may appreciate a photo bomb from my feb 11th shot.
@velina Hi Velina! Sorry it's taken me so long to reply! First I have to say, I love my 7D! I think you will too! I have four lenses, I have a 100mm macro, which is a fantastic lens! I have a 10-22mm wide angle that took some getting use to but is now my favorite lens in my bag! I have a 50mm 1.4 that I would definitely recommend! It is affordable and it's perfect for portrait and very fast in low light situations! My last lens is a Lensbaby for those times that I need something different to stimulate creativity! I hope this helps and I'll try not to take too long to reply the next time you have a question! :)
OMG absolutely rolling around on the ground with your most awesome SOOC :P You freakin' rock it in all ways.
@velina I agree with Jerry ... I have 100mm macro and 50mm f/1.4 and they are awesome! I don't have his other lenses. Although I do think I might upgrade the body in the next year, just undecided as to what.
@orangecrush Oh, it's ok. Actually I have the 100mm f/2.8 now, too! I really love it! I also consider buying the 50 f/1.4, cause it's on my wish list for a while:) I am just wondering about the basic / normal lens - you know, for landscape and small room situations.. And I haven't figured it out yet. Anyway, I am very excited about the 7D, cause I plan on buying it this or next month! :))) Yey
@mrsc19 I had the hardest time figuring that out! I still don't think I'm doing it right! I did the watermark in Corel Draw and opened it in PS. After fiddling with it, I finally have it as a smart object in PS. Now after I'm done editing a pic I can open the watermark, click and drag it to the pic and position it where I want it. I know there is a better way! Some times I want to change the color (if the pic is dark, the watermark doesn't show) but the way I did it, it doesn't work. This might be a good discussion thread.
Beautiful!
