This is my final shot for the ONS6, macro! Everyone gets a prize when we go to Disney So my youngest insisted that I take a pic of her pig in a cactus! I know, I know! :o)
I had such a great time doing the ons6 with you guys! Thank you all for joining in! It's always so much fun! After the hustle and bustle of the holidays are over we'll have to give it another go!
Cute shot, indulgent dad! And it sets me off on a pig tangent with a spoiler alert: One of Miyazaki's less-well-known films, Porco Rosso, takes place between WWI and WWII. It's hero is a WWI aviator who has rather inexplicably been turned into a pig (who is still capable of human speech and of flying an airplane). I thought it was just weird and showed it to my husband. It has become his favorite Miyazaki, because the bizarre planes I thought were figments of Miyazaki's imagination are actual planes that one very rarely sees filmed or depicted in any form. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Porco_Rosso
