The tits settle on the branches of my apple tree while they are checking that next door's cat isn't around. They also retreat there, holding their peanuts - and sometimes they even seem to strip the buds from the tree.
I've a blossom-free area in the middle, but looking up, there are the signs that apples may follow.
I ventured out in one of the sunny patches today - amid sudden heavy downpours.
I wonder what that will do to the Election...... let's just hope that people turn out in large numbers to celebrate the fact that we have the vote in the UK and shouldn't waste it.
