Wood carving in a tree

Went for a walk at a local country park and spotted this carving in a fallen tree. The artist also managed to use the broken branch and shape it into a horn. A true work of art I thought and what talent

Well spotted! I love finding them in the woods. It seems a shame that it is the nature of these carvings that they will eventually rot away. Perhaps there is a deep philosophical truth hidden there...
