Barn owl

What a happy day spent at Bird of Prey Centre,Suttleworth. Just so many opportunities but this is one for my bucket list. Yes she is a captive owl and I would love to see one in the wild but thought this was a must for me today from 124 good shots.

Great shot. Those in captivity with a ready food supply have been the lucky ones this year.according to a report on local TV news last night that an increasing number of barn owls and a few other species have been found dead and undernourished because their prey perished in the cold.
