Couldn't resist another shot from my Big Cats day as I was engaged helping disabled people cycle today with the Easy Rider Charity at Stanborough Lake Welwyn Garden City. Made me think how I see there world from the outside a little like this cat looking at me-what did he think!! It was very humbling experience for me and made me thankful for not only myself but my whole family being fit and able.
Did get a blossom shot but this was Pear Blossom on my other album. Thanks as ever for the support and views-much appreciated
They have such amazing faces, this is a great shot. With a seriously disabled young nephew your words struck a chord. I think we as a family have learned so much and definitely see our lives from a different perspective now.
He doesn't look so impressed ...! Beautiful cat though - clearly very proud. I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Paralympics (on my birthday!!!!) and it was such a humbling experience to see what they Could do rather than what they couldn't. (See my Aug 31st shot if you're interested)
@padlock Gosh that was quick! I was about to tag you on it to save you searching! It was actually an advance-notice-hint of when my birthday is! (I'm such a baby!) Seriously, I can't imagine how anyone could run 1500m blind.... my eyesight is turning blurry and already I'm saying 'I can't do xyz any more...'
@filsie65 aaaah very neat re birthday- to subtle for me. Agree re those runners , my only claim to fame is helping the blind at archery. What is worse they won!!!!
