Three hands are than better than one!

Met some friends at Whimpole Hall, absolutely heaving due to a Xmas Fair. However they were giving a demonstration of the crafts that you can join a course for. Not sure I want the blacksmith course but the wood turning looked quite good.

Nice "man at work" shot. I had an interview for a job as a trainee blacksmith, once. They asked me "Have you ever shooed a donkey?" I said "No, but I once told a horse to f*** off..." Didn't get the job, dunno why...

I have to admit that having seen blacksmiths at work I longed to have a go! Alas there were 30 kids with us and I was helping to supervise which is hard to do with burning/melting tongs in your hands. What a great choice of courses..!
