Got home after another good training run, amazing how much difference the wind in your face makes. The last 3 miles were hard but got home, had a recovery drink and looking at these colours calmed me down. I would just like to thank the people on the Alban Way who acknowledge the red faced gent in a bright orange jacket with a smile instead of a look as if I shouldn't be there. I agree some cyclist's are real a****holes but it is a shared route. I am riding this route as I thought it would be safer than the road and all for a sponsored ride of 100km for Prostrate Cancer. My thanks of the day go to dog walkers who have there dog on one of these extendable leads which means the dog is not under control. Just think 85kilo's at 5mph hits dog. Give you your due you pick up the mess but you then hang the bag on a fence. Sorry to all the good dog owners of which there must be hundreds but struggled today with several instances where the extendable lead nearly sent me flying. Have a good weekend.
Love the colour. I have to defend dog owners though.... while I do have my little fella on an extendable lead I always have my finger on the retractor so I can control him in an instant. I agree though there are lots that don't. And the hanging the poo bag on a fence or tree is one of my PET hates!!!! Why bother to pick it up if your'e going to litter somewhere else. Pick it up and bin it. It's not that difficult. Fair play to you on the sponsored cycle, best of luck with it :)
Beautiful colour. Shame about the dogs and I too hate people who hang bags of poo in trees and on fences. Well done on your run and it's for a good cause
You are a hero for attempting the bike ride. When is it? I am a dog owner myself, but people leaving bags of dog poo around is one of my pet hates. Why do they do that?
So glad the color calmed you down...hahaha!! Yes...it is so irresponsible to not clean up the mess properly and to not be considerate with the dog lead is terrible. "Some peoples children!!""" Glad you made it safe and good on you for doing your part! So appreciate your efforts

Have had a work/other stuff enforced break from photography this week - waaaay too much to do, so really looking forward to taking Bob out for a trip! x

Be good to see you on Saturday, but if you forgot the battery what form of punishment, another trip to Park-expensive, make you speak to you know who-exhaustive, make you blag a sandwhich-embarrising the lost could go on. even if you didn't finish you wouldn't be letting anyone down....the fact that you even thought about starting is pretty awesome! Oh if that's the punishment I might forget it on purpose!! ;0)
