This is the tip of one of the antlers from a Red stag we saw in Bushy Park. It it the one captured by @creampuff . This shows how much the stag had been using the antlers as us can see they are worn white at the ends and in this instance one is broken. He was by himself no does so presume he lost the fight. Each single set of antlers can weigh from 8 kilos up, so that is sixteen kilos on top of their head, no wonder they need to rest.

@tremerryn Tremerryn, it was a great day and I am probably of to Woburn tomorrow to see what is happening there. The lens is a Tamron 100-600mm came out early this year and it is awesome.
