First of all I wish you all a happy New Year. Sorry I haven't been around much but seem to have lost the phojo at the moment. Lack of daylight doesn't help and I am looking for a new project that I could use to help on the days when I cant get out and take a photo.
Anyway I was very lucky for Xmas as the family clubbed together and bought me a keyboard to compliment my musical talents with the guitar. or the guitar is that bad they think the keyboard will be better. Loads of stuff on the internet but I thought I would try and get a local teacher to help out. Not much luck when I mention I am a causal player and own a keyboard-think they want budding Chopin's not casual Overthehill players. Well I have got a number of chords together and will plod along, just so much you can do with the press of a button, point is I can never remember which button I pressed.
Will try and be a better contributor but do look at your shots and although I dont comment on all do fav those I like.
Cool shot and present. My husband always fooled with a guitar but actually taught himself to read music several years ago and now can make the most amazing music.
Good to see your new piano padlock. My grandson Jack bought one with his Christmas money plus a bit extra. Like you he plays guitar grade 8 but taught himself piano which he loves. The new Yamaha has to be taken back to uni next Saturday....hope he doesn't spend too much time at it & neglect his studies!
Great shot! It always amazes me that teachers pick and choose in this way, to me the joy of teaching is delivering what your pupils want, whatever that may be! Anyway, good luck with it! You Tube is a fount of tutorials and such, if you don't come across a teacher - Lucy
