Well again another filler on a wonderful day in the country. A word of warning to my fellow Kingfisher photographers this is what you get when you kindly let people know where to got to photograph this private bird, a gap !!! Today I walked 20km to find new sites to photograph the Kingfisher without much success. All because(pleased know one I know) posted a picture of a Kingfisher at a site, result 25 plus cameras and the bird was frightened off. So it is not always easy to get the shot and I feel that people dont have a clue how many hours go into tracking the bird and researching it. Otherwise good luck to you if you can photo it please do be be aware of how you advertise it.
Love the contrasts of light here. Sorry that some people have no manners and just muscle in regardless. I love your bird shots, even though I don't always comment, and hope that they come back to their ususal haunts when these Johnnie come lateies have given up.
