Well the catch light is good and the subject was helpful.This is a young Kingfisher and the colours have yet to move to the adult brightness. On the chest is a distinct checker boarding, the feet are not bright, the end of the beak has a white dot on it. Also in some instances under the lower mandible orange can be seen which may make you think it is a female when it really is a juvenile growing into adult hood.
