For a first I went to the local photo club last night as I had seen on their programme some interesting talks. On this occasion is was about Photography for Photographers with Special Needs. Excellent, very thought provoking and humbling. Anyway whilst replaying the presentation and not really paying attention I got the feeling I was being watched. Turned to my right and a male Kingfisher was sitting watching me, he even allowed me to fumble with the tripod, take some shots and then put the 1.4X on the camera.
This is the shot without any cropping at all. Wonderful bird and dedicated to those who undertake photography with special needs.
Simply gorgeous. What an honour to spend so much time with him. And yes, admiration to all photographers with special needs who get out there to get their shots
