This male Kingfisher was very much on form today. At one point @pixiemac and I were able to spend 30 minutes taking shots of him. We were able to change lenses, extenders, make lunch and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate. The Kingfisher then stunned us both, not by catching a large fish but what he did with it!! Great action shot. Your Kingfisher is far better trained than mine, by the sound of it. I went looking for them again today. During over three hours of waiting, he appeared for a full 2 1/2 minutes.
It was an awesome KF day today. As you say, to have time to make lunch and a hot chocolate, all while he sat and watched!
