When I left home this morning -7c showing which is cold for the UK. Thick frost but the river was running slowly and very clear. Hope for me to grab a few shots. Well walked for quite a while and then bingo. This Kingfisher stayed both on the tree (shown in other album) and this branch for nearly 2 hours. Very close to me wish I had carried the Canon prime but that is the way it goes. Really wonderful and thoroughly enjoyed it. Amazing people just don't see such a bright bird.
