I’m pretty sure this little chipmunk is expecting, I can tell because she worked all day in a panic filling her burrow with dry fluffy leaves; well, fluffy to her :) No stopping, not even for sunflower seeds. Here she is running up the stone wall, to where she has her burrow.
:) We have one that comes to our patio every day and we have named her 'Fluffy' ... and guess what, 2 weeks ago she started coming with the whole family, herself and 3 babies ... they are such a joy to watch
