Posting this unedited shot as my last day of my first 365, which was actually 366. I think I have found more inspiration in the sky than I ever would have imagined. My dog Kaiti & I have taken many walks in places that I wouldn't have gone to, in search of new pictures for my 365 Project- and Kaiti says "Thanks"! One of the most profound revelations for me has been the realization that I'm not a bad photographer, as my previous attempts had led me to believe. I have a lot of areas where I am pretty good- composition, an eye for a good photo op- and with modern point and shoot technology and the ability to shoot several pictures at one place, I can find something close to what attracted me to the shot to begin with. It's so wonderful to have instant results from the camera- if I don't quite get what I wanted, I can go back and try several more times! And my very favourite feature is the "Straighten" tool!
I have not chosen to be disciplined with the idea of a picture a day for 365 days but rather that at the end of a year, I will have posted 365 photos. I did it! - plus more in my other 2 albums. When I lacked inspiration, I would go and see what challenges people had come up with or what theme had been chosen for that week.
