This is our gorgeous Molly who was "playing" chess with my sister Barbara. She has her own version where she wins every move!! We all had to cheer when she won. Such fun!
Yesterday the family came for Sunday lunch and it was a very relaxed time. My niece Ruth was thrilled as she says it is very rare for anyone to cook for her. I overcooked the chicken - I hate cooking in a strange oven where anything can happen! I don't think anyone noticed - or too polite to say!! LOL!! A lovely afternoon with a walk down to Pete's Patch to sit in the warm sunshine.
This morning we have woken to torrential rain!! I cannot complain as we have had sunshine every day since we arrived. The boys are not happy though and sit at the open door not keen to go out and get wet!!
When my grandnephew was young we played games until everyone won so no one was a loser. It worked until he started playing with his cousins who played to win. Enjoy this time with Molly better a child wanting to be cheered than one throwing tantrums because they didn't win.
