I came back from my late walk with Finlay and spotted the moon rising. I tried a couple of silly shots with my Iphone - the moon balanced on a lamppost etc but when uploaded you couldn't even see the moon. I quickly grabbed my SLR and took this hand held - it was already dark - so early!! I have converted to B&W as it shows a little more detail. It looks like a full moon to me but not sure if it is.
Taken using my Canon 100-400 mm lens and then a tight crop. It just shows how good a full frame camera is when cropping - no loss of details!!

@kathiecb \i thought it was a good idea!! I think I will take out my SLR the next couple of evenings as the moon is due to be a full one on the 5th so I might get another chance to play!! LOL!! I did get some funny looks!!
