4th March March 2015 - Fallen Tree revisited

I took a shot of the fallen tree last month but managed to chop the top off the other tree. I went back today with a wider lens and luckily there were some sheep in the field this time which i think added to the shot.

Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's shots - as always very much appreciated!!
A lovely winter scene, so bright and clear

Love the light and the trees and the sheep and the spring mud, all together in one beautiful composition.

I like the way you've caught the tree this time in full, and then there's the plus of the tracks leading line and those cute sheep. It's really a lovely scene and looks like a classic rural movie set.

A lovely green English scene and I think sheep always give an air of serenity. (No wonder the trees are falling down, Pam, if you keep chopping off their tops!)

I really do like the shape and branches of the standing tree. A lovely setting Pam.

Has a lovely spring look with the sheep.

Lovely shot, if I may... I would darken or remove the puddles below the tree and next to the sheep. As for the rest, I totally agree with Taffy

@genesis_one yes I see what you mean Corrie. I was not really happy with this shot and intend to go back at a different time of day to see if I can improve it. I will try out your suggestion. Many thanks - I always appreciate helpful advice!
