Continuing the story of the dunnock who is doing his mating dance in every window he can find. This morning he was at the lounge window again and kept flying at it. Luckily he stops before he hits the window!! Then he went back to the shed and kept flying from the tree to the window - back and forth. It is so sad to see him doing this all the time. We did see another dunnock in the garden but they ignored each other. He can't tell a good thing when he sees it!! LOL!!
It's a dark corner of the garden and I had to have very high ISO to get these shots but they are a bit noisy.
Many thanks for your lovely comments on yesterday's shot - much appreciated!!
Poor dunnock, I do hope some pretty lady dunnock turns up and responds to him--and then, baby dunnocks! I do like your captures of him going through his routine.
Love the colours and tones. The Robins were doing this at our windows last spring but they'd hit the window - no casualties. I've read they're trying to scare away their competition.
I like the way you've created this as a triptych! It shows the story of the bird's activity, and by using the smaller images together, it reduces any problem of the noise you'd noticed.
