I had the day off from taking my sister to hospital as her son Michael decided he wanted to take her today. So I made the most of it and took Finlay out for a good long walk in the woods at one of the country parks near us. Finlay loved it and was dashing everywhere up and down the hills and chasing every squirrel he saw. Thankfully he didn't catch any!! The sight of the white tornado rushing into the undergrowth I am sure had the squirrels laughing - he had no chance!!
Taken with my Iphone as I am giving my shoulder a rest for a few days.
This is simply adorable, and the story, a delight! I know in our yard, when one of the cats would chase Frosty, she'd turn around after a moment and chase back! I think the squirrels consider it a game as well! (Finlay has the most beautiful coat!)
Lovely comp and focus Pam, Finlay looks like the king of the forest standing up there. Fav. I hope he hasn't peed on any more teenagers? As always, hoping for the best for your sister and that your shoulder improves.
@hayleymolloycook You need to train Nala with very good treats. Finlay will always "come" when I have treats and I always praise him a lot when he does it. I only give him treats when he actually does something. I tell him to sit first then ask for his paw - then he gets the treat. Practice in your garden where Nala cannot run too far!!
@pixiemac Yes I must check out the EOS M3. Shoulder is a bit better but I hesitate to go out with the 5D plus the 100-400mm lens!! I got my new Iphone6 today so I will try that out for a few days.
Love this ...makes me smile. He and Charlie would have so much fun together. I always have to giggle when Charlie chases "his" squirrels in the back yard. He tries to so hard....I think the squirrels laugh at him too!!
As far as shoulder is concerned.......you need to come and do some shooting with my EOS M3 :) it's a baby slr for sore days :)
