It's been a very busy day so I am using a couple of shots from the country park. I have been trying to get a heron closeup for ages but whenever i have seen one it has always been too far away. Imagine my surprise when this heron landed quite near me as we walked along the path. Luckily Finlay was looking the other way and I managed to get a few shots off before he flew off.
