It was too hot for me to go out with the camera today so these are a few from our visit to the country park.
This is my first butterfly of the year and very tatty it is too. I think it's a female Meadow Brown and she was kind enough to sit still for a photo!!
Many thanks for your great comments and Favs on yesterday's shots it is so lovely when I see them on the PP!!
What a wonderful surprise to see this on the PP this morning! Many thanks for getting it there!
A beautiful capture. Fav!! 😃 I agree, it's much too hot to venture anywhere in the car, for photos. I went shopping at 8.00am this morning, to avoid the heat
Fantastic shot Pam. I took a similar shot this morning - it's complete rubbish compated to this. So much detail and the colours are superb. Has to be a fav.
Fantastic detail Pam.
Everyone over here is laughing about the fuss being made by the Brits of 36deg temps. However, for some strange reason, I have always thought that it feels much hotter over there and I have no idea why. Get 20deg in UK and I would be walking around without a jumper on. 20deg here and I would be rugged up and complaining.
@terryliv It wasn't the heat that was so bad Terry it was the humidity. You moved and felt like a wet rag - I hate to feel that way!! Last night was horrible - I was wandering around all night - just sooo humid!! Yes I am a drama queen!! LOL!! Much better today as there were some storms which cleared the air.
I think the worst thing is that the houses are built for cold weather, not hot. So when it is hot, they become very stifling with no breezes and at night they retain the heat. We stayed in a hotel in Chester in hot weather one time and it was bloody awful.
