4th July 2015 - Damselfly

We walked in the country park this morning. The violent storms of the night had passed but it was still quite breezy which made taking macro shots very hard. I managed to get this damselfly but most of my other shots were rubbish.

Many thanks for your kind and very funny words on yesterday's shot of my sister waiting for me.

I see this has been on the PP - how lovely! It has gone now so it was a very brief appearance! Lol! How funny I have just seen it reappear on the PP!! Thanks for getting it there!!

Is there any prettier shade of blue than this??!!! It's not nuanced...it's gemstone turquoise...and with that black! Wow! SO dramatic! Add that this is a beautiful insect who knows he's all the more exceptional while attached to the rust-and-tan-twig! You were given a lovely gift here to photograph, Pam!
