Finlay and I went to the country park this morning and when I got there I realised I had left my camera in the hall at home!! You guessed it I have never seen so many dragonflies hovering in front of me and passing back and forth and I only had my Iphone!! I finally spotted one which had settled on a fence and I managed to get a few shots. I looked in my book and think it's a Ruddy Darter but if anyone knows better please let me know.
I will be going back with my 100-400mm lens!!

Wow, what a missed photo opportunity, but at least you know exactly where to find them!! You have actually done amazingly well with your iphone.....this is an incredible close up! Someday I am hoping to find myself somewhere where I can be surrounded by dragonflies to shoot!! I don't believe I have seen any in real life....just here! ;-)))
