Finlay always does his own thing!! I was calling him to look at me but he was deliberately ignoring me!! Just wait until he wants a treat!! LOL!!
Best on black!!
I have been trying out my 70-200mm lens today with the x1.4 teleconverter. Finlay was actually quite close to me when I took this - minimum focusing distance.
A typical terrier with a mind of his own !! I can read the expression so well -- ears slightly pulled back as he hears but is determined not to oblige !!!
And, I thought it was only cats that had perfected the art of ignoring you!! ;-))) How are you liking your 70-200 with the teleconverter? I am doing the same thing trying to decide if I am going to be happy with the results. BTW, thanks for you comment on the dahlias....I would get them anyway and just deal with the bugs. They are such beautiful flowers with so much variety. I usually get the bulbs and plant them in the winter or early spring, and then enjoy the flowers months later!
@panthora I only took a few shots in the garden with the 70-200 plus converter - also the two shots of Finlay. I have only previously used this lens for portraits and close ups of animals at the zoo and have loved the quality. My big cat shots were taken using it. Using it for distance is something new and I need to do some proper testing. Not sure if you loose quality with the converter - I have been reading reviews and need to test this as loss of clarity was mentioned. Weather was dull and grey today so not good photography weather. I am going to the coast on Friday and hope to really put it through it's paces then.
You are lucky you can leave your dahlia bulbs in the ground - we would not be able to here in the UK!!
