2015 12 15 Lookout

I put some meal worms out to try to get a robin shot this morning and looked who arrived almost before I was back indoors!! Can they smell them?

Many thanks for your great comments and Favs on yesterday's shots - I was thrilled to see the B&W version of Finlay on the PP.
Wonderful and detailed capture -- we seldom see any starlings here now -- we used to see flocks of them arriving during the winter months -but no more it seems !!

I love them, but they are considered an invasive species here

Stunning plumage :)

They are a lovely marked and coloured bird if you catch them in the right light as you have here, but the farmers dislike them around here because they roost in buildings and leave an awful mess as well as eat a lot of the cattle's feed.
