2017 01 07 - Reflection

An iPhone shot from yesterday's walk with Finlay. The lake was frozen at this end and it looked like a mirror giving a lovely reflection. Sky very bland so I took the image into Topaz Textures for a little play.

This is beyond gorgeous!!! It makes me think of an English setting in the 1700's and your vignette framing of it is like looking through old glass in a time-traveling moment! It's my take on it that this is one of the prettiest I've seen you accomplish to date! (Can you tell I love it?!)

What a great shot...and then to find out it was shot on an iPhone, well, that's just astounding. I occasionally take a photo class from a local pro, and she also sometimes offers classes specializing in using an iPhone. Maybe I should take on of these courses.

@stray_shooter Thanks Ron very nice of you to say so!! I often take shots with my iPhone and it is normally because I have forgotten my SLR - not by choice!! I find I then need to go into Topaz Textures to give the shot a bit of life. I know that iPhone photography has come on and there is a lot more I could do to improve the original shot. Perhaps I should do that course you are talking about!!
