2017 03 02 - Rainbow - Green

Saw this cactus at the garden centre this morning and took a shot along with lots of other shots of anything and everything green I could see!! LOL!! I took this into Topaz Textures to make it a little more interesting. For my Rainbow theme - green.

I could swear you'd been visiting the desert Southwest! I LOVE cactus in their many shades of "not-always-green"! This one fills your criteria perfectly!

Works for the theme so well. Wondering if the background should look a little more arid for the cactus, though I do see the things growing in the strangest places even though I think of them as desert plants.

@taffy I see what you are saying - I was just going for greenish background for the theme and not thinking about where they would grow!! LOL!!

@pamknowler I only thought of that because of feedback someone gave me that made that same point. My response there (it was on facebook, not 365) was that I wasn't going for realism, because in that case I wasn't...but it was a useful comment to keep in mind for other shots.
