I think this is one of the most bizarre things I have ever seen. Two surfers - where is the surf?
Two iceburgs - how cold was the water? We stood and watched these guys "waiting for the wave" - there were no waves!! They do say the people of Newfoundland are strange - very strange!!
I saw someone surfing on TV and remembered this very strange sight.
All packed and ready for off in the morning for our trip to Yorkshire. Not sure about WiFi so may be out of touch. I am looking forward to the Yorkshire Dales - my favourite part of the UK!! Fingers crossed the weather is kind to us.
Total lunacy in my book, quite agree. Mind you, along the coast near us the surfers are in the water year-round. Since it's the Southern Ocean the water's none too warm in summer, let alone winter. Takes all kinds, I guess.
