A quick visit to see my Niece Ruth in her new home in Higher Clovelly. After the tiny two up two down damp cottage she lived in for years in Clovelly this huge council house is wonderful. Lots of potential and so much space!! I am so pleased for Ruth and her family.
Trying out the Lumix today for portraits taken indoors. I am using the Intelligent Auto to begin with to get used to using a touch screen and menu driven camera. I was very pleased with this shot of Molly. What a darling she is. She was quite shy when we arrived but she soon relaxed and we had a lovely visit with them!!
Best on black. I overexposed this shot in Nik Silver Efex as it lightened the whole shot and I thought was more pleasing to the eye.
Finlay did not know what to do with himself as Ruth has a dog who is very territorial and also a cat. He chased the cat in the garden when he first spotted it. He sniffed around the whole house as he knew a cat had been there. They finally came face to face and the cat biffed him on the nose!! So funny!! The two dogs were kept apart thankfully!!
Still very windy today but not as strong as yesterday's gale!! The sun actually showed it's face!! Whoopee!! Tomorrow the forecast is dire - very warm and very wet!! Never mind I can still watch the beach and river from my bed!! LOL!!
