My nephew Colin has a new puppy called Harley (can you see him on the carpet?) Finlay met him for the first time today and just loved him. He is 9 weeks old and is smaller than my new puppy George at 4 weeks. He was sold to them as a tea cup Yorkie however he looks more like a border Terrier puppy to me. He is a mix of unknown origins. A tiny baby who seemed to love Finlay as he kept trying to bite him - just teething!! Finlay wanted to play and kept getting down low with him. He was very gentle with the puppy but seemed fascinated by him.
Seeing how Finlay acted with Harley has made me feel excited at how he will be with George when we bring him home. By the time George is 8 weeks old he will be quite big compared to Harley and I think will be able to happily and safely play with Finlay.
Wow...he IS small! Finlay must think you brought him a new toy! That's really cute of them together...and you won't be wanting for photo-mojo in the months ahead!
So sweet. I love watching the interaction between puppies and adult dogs. Some just want to play whereas others (like my Kaela) will mother, protect and play.
