Or is this aggression? I was taking a shot of the robin on the right when the new robin flew into shot. Best photobomb I have ever had!!

Its so rare for me to see two robins together like this and I am thrilled that I got a few shots. Do you think it's the mating game? LOL!!

Many thanks for putting Finlay and George on the PP - so lovely to see them there. They are the best of friends one minute and then fighting aggressively the next. Who will be top dog I wonder?

I’m not positive but I think this is 2 female robins. Maybe they’re cousins or sisters and they just want to catch up on the family gossip. Lol. Wonderful capture of them, Pam.

@pamknowler well their beaks are brighter, heads darker and they have white feathers on their throats. I can only speak to American Robins though! Ha.
