I'm not sure this one works as I seem to have broken the rule of thirds here. Also in colour you could see the sun hitting the top of the trees. I was looking for lines and space. Let me know what you think. Perhaps it's not a good choice to convert to B&W?

Oh dear if this is a rule breaker, I’m in big trouble with my shots. This has leading lines and symmetry and looks great. You could tag it for the up theme this week too!
Never forget that photography 'rules' are there to be broken - guidelines only! A little bit of tension is a good thing and can be introduced by breaking rules - so they tell me anyway!!
I think it's great.... the rule of thirds is there to be broken imho... it is a good rule of thumb but not a rule to be bound to. I love the way the branches look so stark yet almost reaching out to each other. No idea if it looked better in colour but it looks great in B&W. ;)
Vertigo feeling, love it! Rules are made to be broken methinks :) I've always loved climbing trees and in my head, I still can.......but this one would be virtually impossible. So tall with no handholds.
