Castle Ashby

For Flash of Red February 2018

We had a lovely walk this morning in the gardens of Castle Ashby. Once out of the formal gardens you are allowed to take dogs off the lead and Finlay and George enjoyed themselves sniffing every blade of grass and saying hello to everyone we met.

Best on black.

Many thanks for your wonderful comments on yesterday's images especially the two I did with my Great niece Sophie.
can you imagine having to clean all those windows! Or how about the guttering!

Oooh, a castle I have not come across, how lovely! Must put it on my "explore" list. Looks gorgeous. I love seeing it across the five bar gate - makes it look like you're about to be invited in.
